Golf Centerpieces

Wow, I was very surprised at the lack of golf party decor and centerpieces! I have some fun ideas up my sleeve for the little Golf Birthday party I'm designing, but we'll have to wait a few weeks for those pics!

What I did find, I really love....

I love the grass in the clear bowl, exposing it's roots and the sweet tee flag! Very cute!

I love how she tied the grass with ribbon and put a tee and ball in there!

I am totally digging the submerged golf balls in this beautiful arrangement!

I think a carnation ball set on top of a clear glass cylinder vase filled with golf tees would be perfect!

This cute place setting comes with a great tutorial found here!

Another inexpensive idea is to decorate with astro-turf...you know the fake grass carpet your grandmother (okay, MY grandmother) had on her back porch! Well, you can buy a large 'rug' of that at Home Depot for $20. You can cut it into golf green shape and add some sand to an area for a 'sand trap', also cut a hole in it and have a little flag coming out! It would make a very cute centerpiece!

Let me know if you have any great Golf party ideas for decorating!! Have a great weekend!

im actually planning my sons "hole in 1 par-tee" right now! he will obviously be 1 in nov- i can not wait to see your ideas! lets see- some of mine are:
have "tee" for guests
have arnold palmers for guests
im making little "club" sandwiches and wrapping them with golf paper and sticking a tee in them like a toothpick
i got green buckets from target for 2.50 and flags and i plan on having little stations.
i am going to attempt to make his highchair look like a golf cart using cardboard and 4 wooden sticks
have a golf cart to give kids rides
i was going to get green chocolate and let the older kids dip pretzels, marshmallows or whatever in them
i called a local putting range and they are letting me borrow balls and golf baskets
i found inflatable golf balls and clubs online and i was going to cut out a hole on a piece of green painted plywood and let kids make a hole in 1
i was also going to paint a kid golfer on plywood and cut out a hole for their faces
i was going to get the big chocolate golf balls and have them sitting on personalized tees.
plastic golf sets as part favors
i thought about having a sand trap and hiding balls in there
making golf carts out of cardboard boxes and letting the older kids have golf cart races
my son is going to wear a halloween golfer costume

there are lots of things golf on etsy!! including a cute golf birthday crown.
i can not wait to see what you have planned!!!
email me and we can swap ideas if you want!! i have sooo many more!

Jamie~ I can't wait to see YOUR party! You have some fantastic ideas!!!!
The party I'm doing is going to be held at a mini-golf place, so it's going to be mostly just decorating the area we'll be having the food, instead of planning games and such!
I can't wait to see your baby in the golfer costume! We had a trick-or-treater last year that was probably around 2 years old in a golfer costume and it was my favorite costume of the year! Too cute!!!

That is just too neat! I am going to have to lock this idea away in the event I should ever have a little boy!
